Orb is a multidisciplinary creative studio, based in New York, that helps institutions with public missions to communicate their messages, policies and ideas effectively. We work on projects around the world, in multiple languages, and believe in the power of strong communications campaigns to reach and move a global audience.
Orb is all about visual communication and content. We are a team of strategic and creative thinkers and designers that conceives, designs and directs innovative communication campaigns and experiences to engage the public.
Orb has a core team composed of a creative director, art director, graphic designers and architects. For each project, we also bring together experienced and talented designers, artists, writers, developers and film producers with the specialized needs to meet the needs of the project. For international projects, we work closely with local designers, producers and vendors.
Andrés Clerici is a creative thinker, team leader, and natural-born strategic communicator. In two decades of experience on three continents — in the fields of exhibition design, public sector communications, political science, and magazine publishing — Andrés has developed a unique ability to transform complex ideas into compelling messages that move the public.
Andrés guides the Orb team from conception through realization on each project. His experience combines the direction of cultural and communication projects with a strong background in international relations and public affairs. Before founding Orb, Andrés worked for nine years as content and media director for international exhibitions at Ralph Appelbaum Associates in New York. Previous to that, Andrés worked as Coordinator for Exhibitions and Festivals at the Universal Forum of Cultures in Barcelona and in the communication departments of the World Bank in Washington, D.C. and the European Commission in Brussels. Andrés has collaborated in the programming of public events for different foundations in Europe and Latin America and was the founder and editor of “Agora” and “La Política”, two social science journals for Latin America and Spain. Andrés has a B.A. in Political Science from the University of Buenos Aires and an M.A. in International Relations from Johns Hopkins University (SAIS). He is fluent in Spanish, English, French and Italian; he speaks some German, Portuguese and Mandarin.
